Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has reaffirmed his commitment to advancing the state’s infrastructural development while prioritizing the well-being of its residents.
In his New Year message, the Governor congratulated the people of Ondo State for witnessing the end of 2024 and assured them that 2025 would usher in renewed hope and dividends of good governance.
Governor Aiyedatiwa described the new year as an opportunity for significant progress across the 18 local government areas, emphasizing his administration’s determination to complete ongoing projects and implement the 2025 ‘Budget of Recovery’ to stimulate rapid development.
Acknowledging the contributions of stakeholders, including traditional rulers, religious leaders, labor unions, security agencies, and the media, the Governor expressed gratitude for their unwavering support. He also lauded the state’s workforce for their dedication and sacrifices over the past year.
Reflecting on achievements in 2024, Governor Aiyedatiwa highlighted advancements in infrastructure, job creation, workers’ welfare, and enhanced security. He commended the peaceful conduct of electioneering activities and thanked the people for their overwhelming mandate for his continued leadership beyond 2025.
The Governor urged citizens to support his administration in delivering on the “OUR EASE” mandate, which outlines the key priorities for Ondo State’s growth.
“As we embrace the opportunities of the New Year, I reaffirm my unwavering commitment to the people of Ondo State,” Governor Aiyedatiwa stated. “Let us intensify prayers for peace and prosperity in our state. It is my hope that this new dawn will bring abundant blessings for all.”
