The National President of the Nigerian Youth and Students Leadership Movement (NYSLM), Dr. Seun Akinde, has urged Nigerians to embrace unity and love as the nation celebrates the beginning of the year 2025.
In a New Year message, Dr. Akinde, a prominent human rights advocate and CEO of TNNTV Channels, emphasized the importance of collaboration and innovative ideas to foster national development. He called on citizens to support one another and work together to build a brighter future.
Dr. Akinde commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the significant progress made in reviving the Port Harcourt and Warri refineries, which had been dormant for over 30 years. He described this achievement as a crucial step towards energy sustainability and economic growth.
“The operationalization of these refineries demonstrates the potential for impactful leadership and collective action. It is a beacon of hope for a better Nigeria,” Dr. Akinde stated.
Dr. Akinde also lauded the efforts of Ondo State Governor Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for prioritizing infrastructure development in the state. He praised the inclusion of over 50 road construction projects in the 2025 budget, which are set to benefit all 18 local government areas.
“These road projects reflect the governor’s commitment to improving connectivity, boosting economic activities, and enhancing the quality of life for residents across Ondo State,” Dr. Akinde remarked, urging other leaders to emulate such impactful initiatives.
In his message to Nigerian youths, Dr. Akinde encouraged them to approach the new year with courage and determination.
“You are warriors of progress,” he said, urging them to set achievable goals and pursue them with positivity and enthusiasm. “The future is bright for every Nigerian youth who is willing to work hard and stay focused.”
Dr. Akinde’s New Year message serves as a clarion call for unity, visionary leadership, and active participation from all Nigerians to achieve a prosperous and progressive 2025.
